Indian Tipy drew its inspiration from north american indians art and spirit to create outside seat. Indeed its shape comes from indian tents called "tipi" or "tepee" - 2 syllabes word "ti" or "te", meaning in Sioux language "to live or to lounge" and "pi" or "pee" meaning "to be useful".
Because of that the word tipi for Sioux indians means "used to lounge inside" as our seat which is tied inside the feet.
For Indians the tipi was a sacred place. The floor is the earth where they live. The walls are the sky and the poles symbolize the ways leading from earth to spiritual world.
"Ways unite men to the great spirit called Wakatanka in the Dakota Indians language".
Our seat "Indian Tipy" is a real success for comfort, aesthetic, originality, ease of use and storage.
It is adjustable from lied down position to seated position; the seated position can be high or low. High position is easy for the elderly who can use the two feet to get up !
It adapts to every ground and stays stable everywhere thanks to its three feet; the balance of our seat is provided by the weight of the body in the center which exercises a strength towards the bottom. It folds easily and settles down without bulk.
It is natural product made of textile, rope and Mengkulang - exotic wood.
